Ieder jaar staat de maand oktober in het teken van borstkanker. Vanaf vandaag, 1 oktober, kun je de mp3 van ‘Tarot, Tequila’ gratis downloaden. Ik schreef het bijna zeven minuten durende nummer in 2003, een jaar na de dood van Martine, een vriendin van me. Ik wilde er altijd iets bijzonders mee doen, maar afgelopen 1 februari realiseerde ik me dat het precies tien jaar geleden was dat Martine was overleden. Ik besloot dat het echt tijd was geworden om ‘Tarot, Tequila’ eindelijk op te nemen.

Vrijdag 19 oktober verschijnt het nieuwe a balladeer album I Can’t Keep Track Of Each Fallen Robin. ’Tarot, Tequila’ vormt samen met ’5 Minutes Beside A Hospital Bed’ en ‘For Isabelle’ een drieluik over en voor Martine.
